Meditation for Everyone

We practice Samatha and Vipassana Meditation twice a week.  Sunday mornings at 8:30 am with a reading and then Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.  

Each session begins with a 5 minute sit and settle meditation and then has a 15 or 20 minute time to just sit and contemplate, breathe, or just observe.  Each session has a different intention.

It can turn one of the most amazing and sometimes disturbing places in the world into a calm and beautiful place you trust and YOU control.  By learning to successfully meditate you can start to still that mind and calm and control the thoughts all in your head.

Buddhism is a great way to develop a calm life and way of being not as subject to the stresses of the daily grind.   It doesn't have to be foreign, weird or dogmatic. 

Buddhism is practical and applicable to THIS life RIGHT NOW.

With a little practice and time you too can have a great day, every day.  OR at least not be frazzled when a day comes undone.
